Deciduous perennial. California native. AKA Epilobium canum. Fuzzy, broad, green-gray foliage creates tight mounds or mats. Large, tubular salmon-colored flowers appear in summer and fall. Attracts hummingbirds. Deer resistant. Moderate to little water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 10°F or less.
