Deciduous shrub or small tree. Pruned to have a single trunk. Fast growth. Aromatic leaves are divided fanwise into five to seven narrow leaflets grayish green above, gray beneath. No real fall color. Blooms summer to fall. Small, fragrant white flowers held in spikes at branch ends and in leaf joints. Moderate to regular water needs once established.
