Evergreen perennial. Less invasive than vinca major, but still spreads. Vibrant green, ovate leaves form spreading mats. Small deep purple to magenta colored flowers appear in spring. Deer resistant. Moderate to very low water needs once established. Adapts to a variety of soil conditions. Hardy to 0°F and below.
