Evergreen shrub. California native. Aromatic green foliage is long and thin, reminiscent of rosemary shape but lavender-cedar fragrance. Incredible spires of velvety purple-blue flowers bloom from spring through fall. This tough plant cannot handle any standing water, and prefers to be left alone after established. Attracts butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. Deer resistant. Very drought tolerant once established, but requires excellent drainage.
