Evergreen conifer. Native to Japan and China, this evergreen, pyramidal grower, displays green, scale-like foliage with cream tips. From a far, the cream tips create the illusion of a white cast. Prefers a cool, humid air with plenty of protection from harsh winds. Its contrasting foliage and reddish brown bark make it an excellent specimen plant. Moderate to regular water needs once established.
