Evergreen conifer. Much smaller tree than the straight species. The smaller dimensions and conical shape of this cultivar make it a very useful and attractive tree for the landscape. Thuja plicata is native to the pacific northwest, and the fog belt of northern California. This tree would appreciate a somewhat shady situation. If planted in a foggy location it could tolerate a more exposed situation. Moderate to regular water needs once established.
