Semi-evergreen shrub. Trained to grow along an upright stake in the center of the container. Deciduous in cold winters. Can be trained as a vine or left as a shrub. Dark green foliage. Brilliant orange-red flowers in compact clusters from fall to spring. Attracts hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. Can tolerate seaside conditions. Moderate water needs once established.
