Evergreen shrub. Can be trained as a tree. NOT FOR ZONE 14. Bright green leaves with orange trumpet shaped flowers that bloom throughout warm weather. Established plants may freeze to the ground and recover, but risky with new plantings. Not recommended for colder climates. Some identify this plant as a hybrid between T. capensis and T. stans. Attracts hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. Moderate water needs once established.
