Evergreen perennial. Large, very soft and velvety pale silver leaves form a spreading mound. Does not produce flower spikes. Slower growing than the straight species. Frost and rain can make the foliage mushy but it recovers well. Deer resistant. Moderate water needs once established. Hardy to 0°F.
