Deciduous perennial. Stronger, less floppy stems than Autumn Joy. Clumping, green fleshy foliage and pink flowers arranged in plate-like clusters in late summer. May spread by re-seeding but will return year after year even if it retains nothing above ground (herbaceous). Works well in rock gardens and borders. Low to moderate water needs once established. Deer resistant. Hardy to 0°F and below.
