Deciduous perennial. Upright habit. Lance-shaped, gray-green leaves with white hairs on the underside. Spikes of blue, two-lipped flowers with a white spot on the lip and silvery outer petals appear in summer to early fall. Deer resistant. Moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 20-25°F.
