Evergreen shrub. Wrinkled, toothed gray-green leaves to 2 inch long are elliptical or lance shaped. Very fragrant, used more for tea and potpourri than cooking. Purple blossoms are rounded whirls or balls on stems above the foliage. Dead-head to encourage new blooms. Low water needs once established.
