Evergreen shrub. Wrinkled, toothed gray-green leaves to 2 inch long are elliptical or lance shaped. Very fragrant, used more for tea and potpourri than cooking. Blossoms are rounded whirls or balls on stems above the foliage and range in color from pale lavender to violet blue. Dead-head to encourage new blooms. Low water needs once established.
