Deciduous perennial. Dark green attractive foliage spreads by rhizomes, best divided every 2-3 years. Deep yellow daisy-like flowers with brown centers bloom above the foliage from mid-summer through fall. Excellent as a cut flower and in mass plantings. Deer resistant. Drought tolerant once established, but requires good drainage. Hardy to 0°F and below.
