Deciduous shrub. Can be pruned into a small tree rose. Usually kept as a 3-foot bush. Upright, bushy habit. Large, green, toothed and textured foliage. Fully double hybrid tea flowers are pure dusky red. Darkest color is guaranteed with some heat. Classic rose fragrance. Blooms in warm weather, usually summer into fall. Moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established.
