Deciduous shrub. Low-growing shrub rose with a creeping habit that is often grown as a ground cover. It typically grows with arching or cascading stems to 1.5-2â tall and spreads to 4-5â wide. It produces clusters of single red roses (to 3â diameter) with white centers and yellow stamens in a continuous bloom from May to frost. Flowers have no fragrance. Glossy dark green foliage. Attractive red hips in fall have good persistence into winter. Moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established.
