Deciduous shrub. Single coral-pink blooms on bushy, compact plants. Semi-glossy, dark green, pinnately compound leaves. From late spring to frost, it bears numerous clusters of up to 15 deep coral-pink, faintly scented blooms. Each blossom has creamy-white eye and a starburst of yellow stamens at its center. Small orange-red hips develop after the petals drop. Moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established.
