Ribes sanguineum glutinosum

Deciduous shrub. Upright growth with dark green lobed leaves and dark pink to dark red flowers. Very showy in early spring sometimes lasting into late spring. Edible powdery blue-black berries. Drought tolerant once established but will do better with moderate water, especially in hot summers. Little to moderate water needs once established.
