Evergreen tree. Native to Southern California. Large, spreading habit with multiple trunks coming up from the ground. Thick, leathery leaves have a bluish tint to them. Leaves can have a wavy surface or can appear flat. Acorns are oval with a round tip. Not susceptible to sudden oak death. Low to moderate water needs once established.
