Evergreen conifer. Fast growth when younger, slows to moderate with age. Forms a narrow well branched pyramid when younger. With age becomes irregular, open, and picturesque with drooping branches. Blue green needles turn yellow green in winter. Grey to reddish brown cones. Moderate water needs once established.
