Deciduous perennial. Slender, upright stems carry oblong, toothed green leaves with pointed tips. In summer or early fall each stem is topped with long spikes of rose-pink funnel-shaped flowers resembling snapdragons. Attracts hummingbirds. Deer resistant. Moderate to regular water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 0°F and below.
