Deciduous rhizome (bulb) that will commonly die back to the ground during frosts. Large, rich pink, ruffled petals with yellow centers in appear in spring. Deep green, glossy leaves. Be sure to dig out a large hole and amend the soil with compost before planting. Deer resistant. Regular water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 0°F and below.
