Deciduous rhizome (bulb) that will commonly die back to the ground during frosts. Itoh peonies are hybrids of garden peonies and tree peonies. Medium sized semi-single yellow blossoms with a dark reddish-orange center appear in late spring and early summer. Deep green, glossy leaves. Deer resistant. Regular water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 0°F and below.
