Deciduous perennial. Green ovate leaves form a clumping mound of foliage, well suited for mass plantings. Flowers open yellow, turning striped orange to orange-red with purple petal bases. Blooms from spring until fall, making a long-lasting bright pop of color in any garden. Deer resistant. Moderate water needs once established. Needs good drainage. Hardy to 20-25°F.
