Deciduous perennial. Used for groundcover. Narrow grey-green leaves form a low, soft carpet. Small purple snapdragon-like flowers with orange centers bloom in early-mid summer. Does not like hot, humid summers; best in coastal and colder climates. Moderate water needs once established; does not tolerate poor drainage. Hardy to 0°F.
