Soft Rush
Evergreen perennial. California Native. Clump forming rush with dark green, thin, round, fine textured stems. Reddish brown “flowers” run along the side of the stems below the tips. Spreads via rhizomes. Ample water needs once established. Can tolerate standing water. Good for stabilizing soil in wet areas. Hardy to 15-20°F.
