Description
Evergreen perennial. Also known as Iris germanica. Thick green grass-like leaves add instant architecture to any garden. Stunning ruffled blooms are rosy pink with deep rose beards. Bloom time is from late spring into early summer. Spreads by rhizome; best divided every 4-5 years. Deer resistant. Regular water needs while blooming, prefers less water after flowering. Requires good drainage; does not tolerate sodden soil. Hardy to 0°F.
