Deciduous perennial. Extremely invasive. Flat green leaves variegated with shades of red, pink, yellow and cream on bright red stems. Foliage is aromatic when bruised. Inconspicuous greenish-white flowers bloom in mid to late spring. Regular to ample water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 0°F and below.
