Bulbous perennial. Upright, clumping habit. Thick strappy leaves emerge from each bulb in spring reaching 2-3 feet followed by green, bell shaped-flowers on 5-foot stems. Freezes to the ground in winter. Tolerates most soil types. Moderate water needs once established. Hardy to 15° or less.
