Deciduous shrub. Vigorous, heavy blooming plant noted for producing a spectacular late winter to early spring bloom of large bright-yellow flowers which completely cover the branches. Dark green leaves in spring and summer, turning to yellow with purple tinges in fall. Low water needs once established.
