Deciduous perennial. New stems are a bright red on this gently spreading form. Bright green leaves have bold red mid-rib. Good fall colors of red, orange, and yellow. Tough relative of Christmas Poinsettia. Interesting cup-shaped lime-green “flowers” bloom in summer into fall. Deer resistant. Low to moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 0°F or below.
