Perennial bulb. Fleshy, burgundy and green leaves spread upward and outward. Flower stalks rise in mid to late summer bearing masses of star-shaped, rosy-pink to lavender flowers. Goes dormant in typical Sonoma County winters, evergreen in milder climates. Moderate water needs once established.
