Description

Deciduous perennial. California native State Flower. Finely divided, fern-like blue green foliage grows into a low mound. Single, cup-shaped bright orange flowers bloom on long stems from late spring to early summer. Will reseed freely. Foliage turns straw-brown after flowering. Deer resistant. Drought tolerant once established in well-draining soil. Hardy to 0°F.
