Deciduous perennial. Strappy dark green leaves form low foliage clumps. Through the summer, large daisy shaped flowers with a showy center cone grow above the mound of leaves. Magnus has deep purple-pink flowers that darken to red with an orange-brown cone. Improvements over the regular ‘Magnus’ include deeper colors, bigger cones, darker stems, and more consistent growth. Deer resistant. Moderate to regular water needs once established. Adaptable to a variety of soil conditions. Hardy to 0°F.
