Deciduous perennial. California native. Blue-green, fernlike foliage emerges in early spring. Delicate, spicy scented, heart-shaped white flowers bloom soon after and dangle from tall slender stems. Long bloom spring through early summer and again in fall. Then plants typically go dormant until following spring. Deer resistant. Regular water needs in well-drained soil during growing season. Moderate when dormant. Hardy to 0°F.
