Evergreen perennial. Blue-green strappy leaves on branching stems form compact mounds. In spring, red single flowers with dark centers form on slender stems. Cut spent flower stems to encourage reblooming. Part of the Star Series, grown for its compact long blooming heat tolerance and spicy scent. Low to moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to -20°F and below.
