Evergreen perennial. Blue-green strappy leaves on branching stems form upright mounds. In spring, deep red double flower “miniature” carnations form on tall stems. Part of the Devon Cottage Series. These hybrids are known for their spicy-scent and strong but slender flower stems. They are also more resistant to cold and heat. Cut spent flower stems to encourage reblooming. Low to moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 0°F and below.
