Deciduous perennial. Fleshy deep bronze divided leaflets on strong, upright stems. Showy purple flowers are a single daisy form and bloom summer through fall. Unless your ground freezes hard, there is no need to dig and store the tubers in our area, so your clump will continue to grow. Deer resistant. Moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 20°F.
