Deciduous tree. Slow to moderate growth. Upright spreading form with a rounded crown. Rose red to ruby red flower bracts in mid spring. Oval shaped green leaves turn red in the fall. Small red fruit develops in fall as well. Regular water needs in well-drained soil once established.
