Evergreen perennial in mild climates. Low, spreading habit. Can be used as a lawn substitute. Tiny, green, fern-like foliage is pleasingly fragrant. Profuse, white, daisy-like blooms appear in summer and can be dried to make tea – although the more familiar chamomile tea comes from matricaria recutita. Moderate water needs once established. Hardy to 0°F and below.
