Description
Deciduous perennial. Used as groundcover. Shiny green leaves grow on vertical stems; spreads by rhizomes. Leaves shift to impressive red-maroon in fall. Striking blue flowers bloom at the tips of branches from mid-summer through first frost. Deer resistant. Moderate water needs once established; requires good drainage. Hardy to 0°F.
