Evergreen grass. Frequently confused with the California native Carex tumulicola. Divulsa is a European native that does well in our Mediterranean climate. Slender blades of deep green leaves create arching mounds perfect for naturalizing. Greenish seed heads form from winter to spring. Trim to prevent reseeding. Can be drought tolerant, but is best with some regular water. Adapts to most soil types.
