Evergreen perennial. Small, heart-shaped, toothed leaves form low trailing mounds. Outward facing, bell shaped, lavender-purple blossoms rise above foliage on short thin stems spring into summer. Extend bloom by removing spent flowers. Quick to spread but not invasive. Deer resistant. Moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 0°F and below.
