Deciduous shrub. Native to Baja California to Mexico. Round but somewhat free form habit. Leaves are tiny, soft green, and line the stems in a nearly geometric pattern. Thready or hairy red flowers bloom nearly year round in mild climates, or in warmer temps elsewhere. Moderate to low water needs once established. Hardy to 25°F.
