Evergreen perennial. This low growing groundcover is related to mustard. The small leaves are gray-green with airy bright yellow flower clusters in spring. If pruned lightly, you can often get a repeat bloom. Once called Alyssum saxatile, many gardeners will see its resemblance to the annual Sweet Alyssum (Lobularia maritima). Deer resistant. Moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 0°F and below.
