Description
Deciduous perennial. Native found in multiple states from Eastern U.S. to California. Nicknamed Railroad Annie in the East. Clumping from base to display broad, waxy, bright orange flower clusters on showy green foliage. Flowers ripen to narrow, football-shaped seedpods. Low to Moderate water needs in well-drained soil once established. Hardy to 0°F and below.
