Evergreen perennial. California native. Wedge-shaped silvery, aromatic leaves on erect branches forming lovely gnarled trunks as they age. Flower branches are 1′ long but not very showy. Seeds that remain have an interesting look through winter. Deer resistant. Light water needs once established. Hardy to 0°F and below.
