Evergreen groundcover. Slow growing. Small, bright green foliage hardens to a deeper green over time. Red stems. Foliage can actually turn red or purple in winter before going green again in spring. White to pink flowers appear in mid to late spring. Bright red berries follow flowers and ripen in fall. Attracts birds, bees, and butterflies. Low to moderate water needs once established.
