Evergreen shrub in mild climates. Very slow growing. Native to Mexico. More compact than the straight species. Extremely symmetrical and attractive habit. Succulent bright green foliage forms a solitary, spineless, rosette. White margins on foliage appears almost hand painted. Plants older than 10 years will infrequently bloom with creamy white flowers. Plant dies after flowering. Attracts hummingbirds, deer resistant. Low water needs once established.
