Evergreen shrub. Bold greenish cream central stripe and blue green margins on sword like leaves. Recurved spines on the margins and a long terminal spine. Yellow-green flowers attract hummingbirds. Doesn’t bloom until it is a decade or so old and the plant dies after flowering. Low water needs once established.
